This is a small community of people hoping to marry. It works because of how members treat each other, not because of rules. Still, here is what we expect.
Be who you say you are
- Your real first name, your real age, your own photos — at least two, showing your face clearly.
- If you are divorced or widowed, say so. It is not a mark against you here, and hiding it ends conversations badly.
- If you have children, say so.
Say what you actually want
The honest answer matches you better than the impressive one. If you want to marry within the year, say it. If your family must be involved from the start, say it. If you would only marry within your denomination, say that too — we would rather show you to fewer people who fit than more who don't.
Answering, and not answering
- You never owe anyone a reply. Passing on someone is not rude.
- If someone stops replying, that is their answer. Do not follow up twice.
- Nobody can message you unless you accept their interest. That is deliberate.
What gets you removed
- Sexual messages or photos, or pressure about sex.
- Asking for money, however it is framed. No member of this community will ever have a legitimate reason to ask you for money. Report it immediately.
- Promoting a business, a church programme, or anything else.
- Threats, slurs, or contempt toward anyone's caste, region, denomination, language or family.
- Sharing another member's photos, messages or details anywhere outside this service.
- Being married while holding a profile here.
Meeting in person
When you get there, and we hope you do:
- Meet somewhere public the first few times.
- Tell a friend or family member where you are going and when you expect to be back.
- Arrange your own transport, both ways.
- Leave whenever you want to. You do not need a reason and you do not need to be polite about it.
- Do not send money to someone you have not met. Do not send money to someone you have met.
Reporting
Every conversation has a Safety button. Blocking removes you from each other's view entirely. Reporting sends it to us, and a person reads it — usually within a day. If someone has frightened you, report them even if you also blocked them; blocking protects you, reporting protects everyone else.
If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. We are not an emergency service.
How we handle reports
- We read the conversation the report is about. We do not read messages otherwise.
- We may remove the account, warn the person, or take no action — and we may not be able to explain which, to protect the person who reported.
- Reporting someone in bad faith to remove a rival is itself grounds for removal.
